Things To Put A Spring In Your Step

We just want to say thank you to everyone who came out for Russian River Week. It was a blast, but we are glad to get back to business as usual. Well actually, better than usual I’d say! If you haven’t partaken in the following advancements of awesomeness & new additions, get on it…

32 oz Growlers- Because sometimes GREAT things come in small(er) packages. This little baby growler isn’t only adorable, it’s special purpose is to allow TBC Barrel Aged Beers to be taken home. You can also take home the regular house or specialty beers but you will not get a discount (64 oz growlers are pitcher prices which gives you a free beer-you’re welcome…).

Taco Tuesday 2.0- If you haven’t had the pleasure yet, revisit Tuesday’s at TBC because it’s not just for Tacos anymore. http://tustinbrewery.com/taco-tuesday Our updated and expanded menu will make you say olè (or at the very least “mmm”). Oh & while you’re here, don’t forget to try one of Austin’s new Margaritas. Strictly a beer drinker? We’ve got just the thing...

El Chingón- Enjoy! refreshing Mexican lager is akin to a Negro Modelo or Dos Equis Amber. It clocks in at a sessionable ABV of only 4.8%.

New American Pale Ale Batch- Jerrod tweaked the American Pale Ale recipe a touch & altered the hopping schedule. Why do you care? It resulted maintaining a hoppy flavor while resulting in a more “smooth, balanced and fantastic finish.” - Professional Regular Rich H.

Portola Breakfast Stout- This Oatmeal Stout is a must try, especially for coffee lovers. It’s loaded with oats for a creamy mouth feel & the coffee is definitely not an undertone. The best part of waking up...

New Wine List- Carri has curated a new wine list with more varieties. Which leads us to… Wine Wednesdays- Because we love alliteration, we couldn’t help ourselves and added a little something (probably) for the ladies to the Wednesday Pizza & Pitcher line up. Now you can get a premium bottle of wine for only $25! Don’t worry we didn’t forget the pizza part, add one for only $4.95*

Now, to the “On Deck” list because, although its all fine and good to live in the present, it’s nice to have things to look forward to you. Plus, we wouldn’t want anyone to miss out on…

JACKSON’S DOUBLE IPA!!!! This, our most sought after of beers, is being brewed this Friday (3/11/16) and will be ready about three weeks after that.

Here are three great reasons to spend Thursday 3/17/2016 at The Castle (aka TBC)...

St. Patrick’s Day, We’ll have a little something for everyone for this years annual day of merry mischief. The Bogey’s Dry Irish Stout will return for the day, Jameson’s shots abound, Car Bombs, a plethora of Corned Beef, annual Limited Edition Tee’s, balloons galore, leprechauns (they're invisible & just there to drink in peace), & blasphemous green beer (not judging). It also just so happens to be a Thursday so Happy Hour ALL NIGHT LONG!! Luck of the Irish?

Stone IPA Madness Celebration- Stone is celebrating IPA all month long & we decided, hops being green and all, that St. Patrick’s might as well be the day we share are allocations of awesomeness. We will be pouring Stone's limited edition Pataskala RedX IPA, Stone IPA NITRO, & Enjoy By Enjoy 04.20.16! We will also be giving away Stone glasses and swag.

March Madness- Ok well, this one encompasses most of the month but with the aforementioned events occurring, it is with noting that this is the start of the First round.

Get Your Jollies On...

We are starting to gear up for the holidays and are amped for all the merriment that will ensue. Here at TBC we thrive on that sort of thing. As always, the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving really kicks off the season with reunions of friends and family members visiting from out of town. It’s pizza and pitcher night which is always a good idea considering the copious amounts of drinking reuniting the night before a holiday tends to bring. So, join us for a fun night of catching up and of course, drinking.

The newest specialty beer release, Rum to the Hills is a great success. If you haven’t had the pleasure of trying it, it’s a spiced English Barley-wine that was aged in dark rum barrels for 14 months. It’s delicious and at 12.7 ABV, its the perfect winter warmer. Fingers crossed, we will have 32 oz growlers available to take this beer home for the holidays! Bring the cheer by bringing great beers...

We will be closed for Thanksgiving to spend time with our friends and families, so plan accordingly and fill your growlers earlier in the week. Saturday, we will be reopening our coveted Mug Club membership to mark Small Business Saturday. You’ll get a little something extra for grabbing yours up that day, but the membership will be available through Christmas Eve. Makes a great gift and always a good idea to get your holiday shopping started early…

December 1st marks the glorious return of Barrel Aged Beer Month at TBC. We will shower you with a bunch of barrel aged beers we’ve been stowing away like acorns for, fittingly, the winter months. Nothing like a barrel aged beer to bring you out of your hibernations. To kick it off, we will be having an Avery night, Tuesday December 1st and releasing some awesome kegs from the vaults as well as bottles and some specials on bottles. More details to follow…

We look forward to celebrating the holidays with you and showering you with awesome craft beer. As always, TBC loves you...

Changing of the Guard

Well, if the rumor mill has been working at its usual rate, this announcement may come to no surprise. Our fearless leader (and GM) Matthew Luckey is moving on for new opportunities at...The Black Marlin! We are very happy for Matt and are very thankful for all the years, 18.5 to be exact. That's a lot of years, a lot of hard work and a lot of TBC love. We'll miss him, but I have hope and a feeling we'll see him often enough. Viva Tustin!

The timing was wonderfulactually, possibly our best employee and much loved Carri Klabo had just recently decided that she wanted to be more involved with the running of TBC. Her ideas and energy came at just the perfect time so when we got the news, it all fell into place. Carri will be very missed behind the bar but her work ethic and attentiveness to service will be felt even more as the General Manager.

Be sure to come by Thursday, October 29th for Luckey's last shift and stay for his goodbye party. He'll be behind the bar until 4 pm and then it's party time! Strategically planned for All Night Happy Hour...
